When I was a little boy, my mother (thank God) heard decent music in the car ;-). I regularly „bathed“ in the sound of the 80s in the back seat of our car. The sound aesthetics of that era touched my innermost. Only many years later I realized that it was analog synthesizers of the late 70’s and early 80’s from which these keyboard sounds originated and which were able to trigger this in me. When Ralph called me and asked me to record some keyboards in the studio for the new Starkings track, it was immediately clear: the song should go in the direction of „Bruce Springsteen“ and we’ll use some old synths for it.
